The Lone Acting Nominees

Episode 8 - The Man in the Glass Booth (with Christof)

Episode Summary

This week I'm joined by ChristofN to discuss the absurdity that is Maximilian Schell's performance at the center of Arthur Hiller's The Man in the Glass Booth (1975) as an elderly Jewish businessman that may or may not be a Nazi war criminal. Other topics include the short-lived American Film Theatre project, a very top-heavy Best Actor lineup, and the history of Maximilian Schell as the Academy's favorite Nazi.
